Some words really perterb me, especially those which are used in strange ways that seem to be trendy and/or insulting. Consider the word Tool. How many times have you heard someone say “oh he’s such a too!” “what a tool!” or something similar? Seems to be the latest way to insult people.
But I guess I’m really out of the loop because i have no idea what it means.
Tools can ’screw’ things
tools can ‘make’ things
Tools can ‘control’ things
Tools can ‘use’ things
and to make matters totally confusing,
Tools can ‘get used’ by other people
AHHHHH! What does it mean exactly? Does anyone even know, or do you just use it because it sounds insulting?
